Siliguri, 10th December: A mini-marathon will be organized in Siliguri on January 23 on behalf of the Lions Club of New Jalpaiguri and Siliguri United Greater. The marathon will be inaugurated by Olympic gold medalist Mary Kom.
Addressing a press conference at Siliguri Journalists Club on Friday, Lion Subhash Roy said that the mini-marathon organized in collaboration with Siliguri Sub-Divisional Sports Council will commence from Siliguri Institute of Technology (SIT) and conclude at Kanchenjunga Stadium. They assume that around 1,000 competitors will participate in the mini-marathon.

The organisers did not have the decency to inform the participants the postponement of the marathon till date! Mismanaged organisation! This is very bad!
