Rajganj, 08th November: Members including the Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Environment, Forest and Tourism of the Legislative Assembly, took stock of the temples of the historical Devi Chaudhurani and Bhavani Pathak.
During the inspection, the Chairman of the Standing Committee Saokat Molla and Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy, Raidighi MLA Dr Aloke Jaldata, Mandirbazar MLA Jaydev Haldar, Saren Banduyan, MLA Rajiv Lochan, Tarakeswar MLA Ramendu Singh Roy, Purulia MLA Sudip Mukhopadhyay, Mahishadal MLA Tilak Kumar Chakraborty and officials of the Forest Department and Tourism Department were present.
After the tour, Chairman Saokat Molla said that came to visit various places in both Jalpaiguri and Alipurduar districts. Today they first visited the Gajoldoba tourist centre in the Jalpaiguri district and they will visit Alipurduar tomorrow.
