Siliguri, 06th August: on the instructions of the state leadership, a meeting was held at the INTUC office of the Congress in Siliguri with the presidents of eight districts of North Bengal. The meeting was held with the objective of strengthening the labor union as said by INTUC’s Darjeeling district president Dilip Das.
The party also cited the reason for the meeting was to welcome the members of opposition TMC workers with respect as some of them are already willing to leave TMC and join Congress.
