Siliguri, 05th March: Pratima Chowdhury, a resident of Siliguri’s Hakimpara, lives with a rooster, named Maman, in her house. One and a half years ago, Pratima sighted the rooster roaming around her apartment. and immediately brought the rooster to her flat and named it ‘Maman’. Maman has, gradually, become a member of the Chowdhury family.
As per the report, Maman eats biscuits in the morning and a fish meal in the afternoon. Pratima takes Maman to an animal hospital every month to get his health examined.
Pratima stated that everyone, in her apartment, loves him.
