Medicinal plant garden built in Siliguri Boys High School

Siliguri, 14th July: Medicinal plant garden has been set up in Siliguri Boys High School which will help in providing minor treatment to the students. For example, Tulsi and Basak leaves can be used to relieve cold and cough. In addition, a number of multi-faceted tree gardens have been set up at the school premises.


Siliguri Municipal Corporation administrator Goutam Deb inaugurated the garden at Siliguri Boys High School on Wednesday. More trees will be planted in the coming days.


Utpal Dutta, the headmaster of the school, said that apart from treatment, the garden has been built to make students aware of the medicinal benefits of various trees and plants.
