Siliguri, 13th July: In a significant development, Goutam Deb, the Chairman of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti (Patient Welfare Committee) and Mayor of the Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC), has undertaken a proactive step to revamp the Siliguri District Hospital. As part of this initiative, the Mayor today inaugurated a newly installed lift and a laparoscopy machine in the hospital.
According to reports, a meeting was held among the committee members at the hospital following the inauguration. Addressing the gathering after the meeting, Mayor Goutam Deb disclosed that numerous measures have been undertaken to upgrade the hospital’s infrastructure. Regarding the inauguration, he emphasized its significant benefits for patients and their families. Additionally, the progress of various other upgrade projects was discussed during the meeting.
