Siliguri, 21st September: On Thursday, Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC) Mayor Goutam Deb laid the foundation stone of the second intake well at Paschim Dhantala in Fulbari. During this, Dulal Dutta, MMIC for the Water Department, and other members of the Mayor-Council, including other dignitaries were present.
In this regard, Mayor Deb stated that the work of the intake well would be completed within the next three months. He added that, upon completion of the work, the citizens would be relieved of water issues.
