Siliguri, 24th April: Siliguri Mayor Ashok Bhattacharya, on Friday, inspected the community kitchen built under the initiative of the Yuva Bharati Welfare Organization.
As per the report, meals are cooked regularly in the newly built kitchen since April 20, which is then distributed among 700 poor people in the surrounding areas of Siliguri per day. Besides, cooked meals are also handed over to the tea garden workers.
After inspecting the kitchen, the Mayor highly praised the initiative and further assured of providing all possible help to the organization in the future.
