Matigara, 27th July: Acting on a tip-off, Matigara police nabbed four drug peddlers identified as Tapash Sarkar (28), Biki Das (22), Raju Mandal (20) and Sanjit Roy (21) all of Kawakhali.
Reportedly, the youths had assembled at the spot with a bag full of contraband articles to sell them at different places in Siliguri. Upon searching, police recovered and seized 60 bottles of Lykarex Cough Syrup and “Corex” Cough Syrup, from their possession, which was kept concealed in the said bag.
All the four accused were presented before the Ld Court today, under the relevant sections of the NDPS Act.
