Siliguri, 13th September: A team of Matigara Police Station, acting on a tip-off, launched an operation at Simultala and apprehended two drug peddlers, late Sunday evening.
The arrested have been identified as Prakash Sharma (32) of Buri Balason College Para – Bagdogra and Hritik Mishra (19) of Bhujiapani – Bagdogra. 55 bottles of banned cough syrup were recovered and seized from their possession.
Both have been booked under the relevant sections of the NDPS Act.
