Rajganj, 10th June: School topper Pooja Barman, of Sariam Jashodhar High School in Rajganj, scored 481 marks in the higher secondary examination. She wishes to continue her study by choosing Geography as her main subject and aspires to become a police officer.
Pooja is the daughter of Bablu Barman of Dangapara under Kukurjan Gram Panchayat of Rajganj block. Bablu Barman works as a mason and the sole breadwinner of the family, including his wife and three daughters. He has appealed for support from the government to support his daughter in her further studies.
