Siliguri, 12th May: Hundreds of families have been affected due to short circuit in high tension wire that took place in Bhalobasa More near Panchkolguri under Fulbari No.1 Zone this afternoon. While power supply has been stopped, electronic goods of many houses have been damaged.
Meanwhile, upon receiving information about the incident, Rajganj BDO Pankaj Konar reached to take stock of the area. Officials of the power distribution company also visited the spot. The BDO said that a report will be submitted to WBSEDCL after inspecting the houses. Reportedly, BDO will hold a meeting with the gram panchayat heads of Fulbari-1, Fulbari-2 and officials of WBSEDCL on Friday afternoon.
