Malda, 04th May: Sensation prevailed after the dead body of a man, identified as Ansar Ali (35), was recovered with a slit throat on Monday morning. He was a resident of the Chanchal Bhabhi village under Malda district.
It has been learned that Ansar was on his farmland, the entire night, to safeguard all the machines. However, the locals sighted his dead body, this morning and immediately informed the police.
The police reached the spot shortly after, recovered the body and sent it to the Malda Medical College-Hospital for an autopsy.
The police are further investigating the matter.
