Kharibari, 26th December: A Bangladeshi youth was arrested for getting a fake passport made. He was arrested on suspicion during passport verification at Kharibari Police Intelligence Department on 24th December.
As per the new developments, the police have also arrested another person identified as Nirmal Mahanto in the incident on Sunday. It is alleged that the accused had helped the Bangladeshi youth in forging various documents.
Today the accused was produced in the Siliguri Divisional Court. The police are probing the entire incident. At the same time, police officers are also interrogating the accused Bangladeshi youth Chandan Kumar Mahanto.
