Phansidewa 16th May: Sensation prevailed after the body of a man was found hanging from a noose. The deceased have been identified as Kaushik Dasgupta who worked in the Siliguri court.
Reportedly, Kaushik had left his wife and two kids at her paternal house and was supposed to bring them back today. However, even after several calls, his wife failed to contact him, after which she went home by herself. When she broke the lock of the house, she found Kaushik hanging from the noose.
On the other hand, the Phansidewa police reached the spot and recovered the body, and sent it to the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem. The Phansidewa police are investigating the entire incident.
