Bagdogra, 22nd September: Sensation prevailed after the body of a man was found hanging from a noose at a park located in the Rupsing Jote area of Bagdogra. The deceased has been identified as Naren Sarkar.
According to reports, on Friday, the local residents spotted the lifeless body hanging from the noose inside the park. Subsequently, the matter was informed to the police. Upon receiving the news, the cops of Bagdogra police station arrived at the spot, recovered the deceased body, and transported it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for post-mortem examination.
Speaking in this regard, local Panchayat member Bikal Singh claimed the deceased to be a local resident. He added that Naren was out for a morning walk, after which, his hanging body was found.
