Naxalbari, 14th November: Sensation prevailed after the body of an individual was found hanging from the noose in the Boro Line area of Damdama in Pahargoomiah Tea Estate of Naxalbari. The deceased has been identified as Samir Nag (32).
According to reports, the brother of the deceased claimed that his elder brother Samir was mentally challenged for a long time. He stated that, on Monday, his brother killed himself when there were no other family members present at home.
Upon receiving the news, Naxalbari police arrived at the spot, recovered the body, and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for a post-mortem examination. Meanwhile, the police are engaged in further investigation.
