Jaigaon 13th July: Police recovered a dead body of a businessman from Jaigaon area, on Tuesday night. The locals gathered in commotion once the body was found. The deceased has been identified as Sanjay Poddar, a resident of Subash Pally in Jaigaon.
According to the reports, the family members found Sanjay’s body hanging from the noose last night. Upon being notified, the Jaigaon police reached the spot and took the body into their possession. The body was then sent to the Alipurduar District Hospital this morning for post-mortem.
As per the local vendors, the Indo-Bhutan border has been closed for a very long time which has affected many businesses in the area. Due to this, the vendors have been under a lot of mental stress. They suspected that this could be a reason for Sanjay to take such an extreme step.
