Naxalbari, 04th February: Sensation prevailed after a man was found dead with a belt around his neck, on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Lakshman Munda.
The body was initially found by the locals near the river between Jabra Division and the Lohasing garden of Naxalbari. Later, the Naxalbari police were informed. Police reached the spot shortly after, recovered the body, and sent it to Naxalbari Rural Hospital.
The cause of death has not yet been determined. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
