Siliguri, 29th August: A dispute between two brothers over their ancestral property, took away the life of the younger brother in Siliguri Ward no-7 Nehru Road area. The deceased has been identified as Chotelal Gupta.
It has been learned that during a conflict between Chotelal Gupta and his elder brother Bhagwan Gupta on August 27, the former got critically injured and was rushed to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital with severe injuries. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries, this morning.
The deceased’s wife Asha Gupta already lodged a complaint at the Khalpara outpost against Bhagwan Gupta, his wife, and two sons.
The Police have already arrested one son based on the allegation. Meanwhile, the other three are absconding. The Khalpara outpost police have started an investigation into the whole incident.
