Cooch Behar, 13th July: On Tuesday night, a man died after being hit by a freight train while he was returning home from a wedding ceremony. The deceased has been identified as Gajen Barman.
The incident took place in the Panigram area of Nayarhat Gram Panchayat, Mathabhanga Block No. 01. Upon receiving the news of the incident, the Mathabhanga police reached the spot and took the body in possession and sent it to Mathabhanga mortuary.
