Siliguri, 12th June: In a shocking incident, a man was arrested for raping his four-year-old daughter multiple times. The heinous incident surfaced from Siliguri’s Sheetal Para area, Jalpai More. The accused, Sujan Roy, was presented in Jalpaiguri court today.
As per the allegations, Sujan Roy was sexually assaulting his four-year-old daughter for some time. When the child’s health deteriorated on Friday, she shared the horrendous event to her mother.
Acting promptly, the child’s mother lodged a complaint at the NJP police station. Based on the complaint, the NJP police arrested the accused father and sent the girl to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for the required treatment. Police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
