Siliguri, 21st November: A major fire broke out at the dumping ground in Siliguri, on Saturday night. Questions are being raised regarding the reason behind the fire and who is involved in it.
It has been learned that the locals sighted smoke coming out of the dumping ground last night. Following which, the fire department and the police were informed. Upon receiving the news, an engine of the fire brigade reached the spot. However, the blaze started spreading before the arrival of the fire brigade. Firefighters brought the fire under control after several hours of effort.
Police are investigating the whole incident.
