Siliguri, 17th November: A major fire broke out at a motorcycle service center in Ganganagar adjacent to Siliguri. The matter came to the notice of the locals on Wednesday morning.
The locals sighted smoke coming out of the service center and informed the fire brigade. Upon receiving the news, two fire engines reached the spot and extinguished the fire after one hour.
A motorcycle was completely burnt in the incident. Besides, other valuables were also damaged inside the service center.
The fire workers assumed that the fire might have broke out due to a short circuit. Valuables worth lakhs have been damaged in the incident. Former councilor Durga Singh and others went to the spot to take stock of the situation.
