Dhupguri, 24th June: Several people were injured in a lorry-tanker collision at the Jhumur area of Dhupguri. The conductor of the lorry has been absconding since the incident.
It has been learned that the fish-laden lorry was heading towards Assam from Andhra Pradesh, during which it lost control and fell into the Jhumur river. Meanwhile, after the incident, the locals gathered in the area to collect the fishes. On the other hand, the injured were rescued and rushed to the hospital.
