Siliguri,17th April: The much-awaited and contesting fifth phase of polling has commenced in various polling stations of the city.
Likewise, voting started at 7 am at 17 booths of Sri Guru Vidyamandir High School in Champasari. The central forces are keeping strict surveillance in the entire premises.
Enthusiasm was seen among the young voters at the polling station. No unrest has been created so far.
