Siliguri, 02nd March: The central forces have begun arriving in various sections of Siliguri ahead of the announcement of the Lok Sabha elections.
According to reports, on Saturday morning, a company of central forces was stationed in Siliguri from Haldibari. Significantly, the armed forces have been arranged to stay in the Polytechnic College hostel in Jabravita near Siliguri. Additionally, the central forces are anticipated to carry out their route march on this day.
Reportedly, five companies of central forces would be deployed in the Darjeeling district, ten in the Jalpaiguri district, and four companies in Kalimpong.
