Siliguri, 03rd July: The members of Students’ Federation of India (SFI), left-wing student organisation affiliated to the Communist Party of India, staged a protest in the city today demanding waiver of school-college fees and bus fare of private educational institutions.
The SFI has been regularly staging demonstrations statewide demanding fee waiver in schools and colleges for the months of the lockdown.
On Thursday, a memorandum was also submitted by the organization to the SDO. The SFI Local Committee stated that their protests will continue until their demands are met.
