Balurghat, 27th May: Amid the fourth phase of the lockdown, the North Bengal State Transport Corporation (NBSTC) inter-district bus service resumed operations in South Dinajpur district since Wednesday morning. Several buses left for Siliguri, Malda, and Raiganj from Balurghat, this morning and a bus will also leave for Kolkata this evening.
A maximum of 20 passengers will be allowed to travel on each bus for safety reasons and wearing mouth masks has been mandatory for all the passengers. The NBSTC authorities stated that the number of buses will be increased later based on the demand of the people.
