Siliguri, 01 July: Lion Hemant Kr Agrawal was officially designated as the District 322 Governor at the District Head Quarter in Burdwan Road, Siliguri. Furthermore, former DG Shankar Kumar Das retired today and handed over his post to the new DG.
On this occasion, BDG I Suresh Singhal, BDG II Deepak Kumar Agarwal, Cabinet Secretary Deepak Goyal, Cabinet Treasurer Manish Agarwal, and many other officials were present.
Several projects were launched on the first day of the session. At the same time, under the Prasad scheme, the Central Community Kitchen Bhoomi Pujan was conducted at Siddheshwari Kalibari located on SF Road.

After accepting the post of District Governor, Hemant Agarwal stated that efforts will be made to install solar panels in far-flung villages.
