Left Front releases manifesto for Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad elections

Siliguri, 14th June: Darjeeling District Left Front released the manifesto for the Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad elections to be held on June 26, through a press conference at Anil Biswas Bhawan today. District CPI(M) convener Jibesh Sarkar, former Mayor Ashok Bhattacharya, Tapas Sarkar and other party leaders, workers were present. In the manifesto, the Left leaders have stated that the main goal is to work in the interest of the rural people. 


Meanwhile, the Trinamool Congress has accused the Left of copying their government project. In this regard, TMC leader and Mayor Goutam Deb said that the Left Front remained in power for many years, but it could not do anything for the common people. And now they are allegedly copying the government schemes introduced by Mamata Banerjee to win the votes of the people.
