Lawlessness and intolerance in West Bengal has to end, Lotus will bloom: JP Nadda

South 24 Paraganas, 10th December: BJP National President JP Nadda, while addressing a public meeting at South 24 Paraganas, asserted that he is confident that Bharatiya Janata Party will form the next government in West Bengal in 2021, “The lotus will bloom,” Nadda stated.


He also highly condemned the attack on BJP convoys in Diamond Habour while they were on their way to the said meeting. Nadda claimed that every car in the convoy was attacked, however, he was safe as he was travelling in a bulletproof car. 

“This state of lawlessness and intolerance in West Bengal has to end,” the BJP President said. While Mukul Roy and Kailash Vijayvargiya were injured in the attack today, Nadda called the incident as a shame on democracy.


 

BJP West Bengal President Dilip Ghosh also condemned the incident and called it as a ‘black day’ in the history of Indian politics. Ghosh went on to say that even the media is not safe in West Bengal.

 

 

Meanwhile, Trinamool leader Madan Mitra countered accused BJP of carrying out anti-social activities in the state. “Enough is enough,” he said, further asserting that the TMC is ready. “There’s only one face in Bengal that is Mamata Banerjee,” Mitra added.
