Siliguri, 09th December: A land lease for permanent residence will be provided by the government under the ‘Nijo Griha Nijo Bhumi’ project for 99 families of Ward No. 46 of Siliguri. The process of giving a lease started on Friday in the presence of Mayor Goutam Deb at Baghajatin Park.
Administrative officials including Siliguri Municipal Corporation Mayor Goutam Deb, Deputy Mayor Ranjan Sarkar, and Ward No. 46 Councilor Dilip Barman were present in today’s program.
In this regard, Mayor Goutam Deb said that 99 families will be given land leases in exchange for one rupee under the project ‘Nijo Griha Nijo Bhumi’. Pattas will be handed over to all the families by December and a separate lease for the other 29 families.
