Naxalbari, 20th November: A labourer died while erecting an electric pole in Hathighisa of Naxalbari. The deceased has been identified as Swapna Singh.
Reportedly, work for installing an electric pole was going on in the said area today. During the course, the pole fell on the said worker killing him on the spot. After the incident, the body was recovered and sent to Naxalbari Hospital. The post-mortem will be conducted tomorrow.
