Naxalbari, 01st May: Blood crisis is being reported in various hospitals due to the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic. In view of this, a blood donation camp was organized by the Naxalbari Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) on the occasion of Labor Day.
Following all the COVID protocols, the Labor Day was celebrated by hoisting the organization’s flag in various places, including the Naxalbari party office. Later, a blood donation camp was organized at Rathkhola. The collected blood was sent to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital.
Reportedly, Gautam Ghosh, Raju Sarkar, Pranab Bhattacharya, Radha Gobind Ghosh, Dhruv Jyoti Rawat, Ram Mohant, Swapan Mandal, Subir Paul, Bikas Chakraborty participated in the blood donation camp.
