‘Kirtan Mela’ 2024 to commence at Siliguri’s ISKCON Temple from February 17

Siliguri, 16th February: The ‘Kirtan Mela’ 2024 is all set to commence at Siliguri’s ISKCON Temple from February 17. The event is scheduled to be held for three days.


According to reports, the program will be organized for the first time in the ISKCON Temple of Siliguri. In the past, the program was organized in various locations of the country including Mayapur and abroad. Significantly, this year, the Temple authorities are planning to organize a grand ‘Kirtan Mela’ and present it as a gift to the city dwellers. Significantly, Krishna Devotees and Kirtanyas from the country and abroad would arrive at the temple and perform for three days.

In this regard, Public Relations Officer of Siliguri’s ISKCON Temple, Namakrishna Das stated that ‘Kirtan Mela’ would be organised in the temple for three days. The program would be held in front of the main temple for which arrangements have been made for the gathering of thousands of devotees. He added that the programme would also be showcased through LED screens.
