Siliguri, 28th July: The Sukna Squad 1 under Darjeeling Wild Life Division rescued a King Cobra behind a workers house in Laabar Line Mohurgong and Gulma Tea Estate.
Upon sighting the snake, the locals informed the Sukna Squad. The forest officials reached the spot shortly after and rescued the reptile. It was later released into the forest of Mahananda Wild Life Sanctuary.
