Rajganj, 16th August: On Khela Hobe Diwas, a football match was organized at Majhiyali Gram Panchayat and Paghalupara ground in Rajganj block.
On behalf of the Trinamool Congress, a football match was organized at the Mahanvita ground of Majhiyali Gram Panchayat. Trinamool Anchal Committee teams of 8 Gram Panchayats under the Rajganj Assembly constituency participated in the match. Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy, Jalpaiguri district president of the minority cell Mosharraf Hossain, district-in-council co-mentor Ahida Rahman, and others were present at the programme.
On the other hand, Rajganj Block Committee of Trinamool SC/ST/OBC Cell organized a football match at Paghalupara grounds. Eight clubs from Rajganj Block participated. State Backward Classes Welfare and Tribal Development Minister Bulu Chik Baraik, Trinamool Congress Jalpaiguri district president Krishna Kumar Kalyani, SC/ST/ OBC cell Jalpaiguri district president Krishna Das and other block leaders of the organization were present at the programme.
