Kharibari, 28th February: BJP leaders gheraoed Kharibari police station protesting against the arrest of BJP workers during the demonstration in front of the Kharibari BDO office.
BJP Yuva Morcha district president Kanchan Debnath and others staged a protest in front of the Kharibari BDO office on Monday in support of the 12-hour strike across the state. Following this, the police arrested several workers.
Later in the evening, BJP staged a rally to protest against the arrest of party workers. The rally was attended by Phansidewa BJP MLA Durga Murmu, Ganesh Debnath, and others. Following this, the Kharibari police station was gheraoed.
