Kharibari, 24th November: Kharibari police arrested one person with a large quantity of cough syrup and intoxicating tablets. The arrested accused has been identified as Tipu Sultan (22), a resident of Keshtapur in Bagdogra.
It has been learned that the police arrested the youth with intoxicants from Kharibari’s Debiganj after receiving a tip-off. 110 bottles of cough syrup and 20 strips of intoxicating tablets were recovered from his possession. He was sent to Siliguri court on Wednesday.
