Kharibari, 08th June: The personnel of Kharibari police station arrested a man, identified as Uttam Roy, with brown sugar and cash, on Monday evening.
According to the information, a team of police led by OC Suman Kalyan of Kharibari Police Station and In-Charge of Panitanki Police Post Gautam Saha, based on a tip-off, conducted a campaign in a house located in Panitanki’s Gaur Singh Jote and recovered 65 grams of brown sugar and cash worth Rs 3.5 lakh.
Uttam Roy was immediately arrested. Police have initiated an investigation of the whole incident.
