Siliguri, 10th December: Accusing their son’s jealous boyfriend of killing him after becoming obsessed with the idea he was having an affair, the family of the deceased have raised the demand of hanging the culprit and giving justice to their son.
It is to be noted, a few days ago, the body of Kunal Singh was recovered from the Fairani Jote area of Bagdogra. Following this, the Bagdogra police arrested two people identified as Biswajeet Shil and Mohammad Mafiz on the charges of murder. During interrogation, Biswajeet revealed that the deceased Kunal used to work at his shop and both were in a relationship with each other. However, with time, Biswajeet grew suspicious of Kunal having an affair. This eventually led him to strangle Kunal to death with the help of Mohammad Mafiz.
On Saturday, Kunal’s parents addressed a press conference at Siliguri Journalist Club and made some concerning claims. According to them, Biswajeet often used to force himself on Kunal and physically abused him. Also, Kunal was not allowed to talk to any other man. The parents of the deceased have demanded the concerned authorities take appropriate actions and give stringent punishment against the culprits.
