Naxalbari, 12th February: A Jan Sabha was organized by the Naxalbari-2 Trinamool Congress Party Minority Cell protesting against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019 (CAA), the National Register of Citizens (NRC) and the National Population Register (NPR) at Karbala Maidan, on Wednesday. Appeals were made to the people to protest against the CAA, NRC, and NPR.
District President of Trinamool Congress Party Minority Cell Rafiqul Islam, Trinamool Yuva District President Vikas Ranjan Sarkar, Naxalbari Trinamool Minority Cell President Mohammad Kalam, Arun Ghosh, Viren Sarkar, Majibur Rahman, and many other dignitaries were present during the event.
