Jalpaiguri, 13th August: In a horrifying incident, Subol Roy, a vegetable trader, has been accused of attacking Bapi Rishi, another trader, with a sharp weapon after a conflict broke out between the two, on Thursday morning. The incident surfaced from the Jalpaiguri Mandalghat market area.
Bapi Rishi was rushed to the Jalpaiguri Super Specialty Hospital following severe injuries in his hand. The incident has created a stir in the entire area.
Meanwhile, a huge police force led by IC Bipul Sinha and DSP Pradeep Sarkar of Jalpaiguri Kotwali Police Station reached the spot to take stock of the situation. The accused Subol Roy has been detained by the police.
