Jalpaiguri health workers and cured COVID-19 patients pay tribute to the soldiers martyred in Galwan face-off

Jalpaiguri, 18th June: At least 20 Indian soldiers have died in a violent face-off with Chinese troops at the Galwan Valley in Ladakh.


The cured COVID-19 patients of Jalpaiguri COVID Hospital as well as the health workers, on Thursday, came out of the hospital premises and paid tribute to the martyred soldiers by laying a wreath at their portraits and also observed one minute of silence in their memory.

North Bengal COVID-19 OSD Dr. Susanta Roy, OSD, CMOH Dr. Ramendranath Pramanik, Hospital superintendent Gayaram Naskar and many others were present during the programme.
