Islampur, 22nd April: Abdul Karim Chowdhury, Trinamool Congress candidate of Islampur assembly constituency in Uttar Dinajpur district, cast his vote at the Puraton pally booth in Islampur.
Meanwhile, he expressed outrage over the lack of adequate lighting in the booths and immediately demanded a proper power supply in the polling booths. He said he would also inform the SDO about the matter.
