Maynaguri, 14th January: Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, after inspecting the Maynaguri train accident site on Friday, said that the accident might have occurred due to a faulty engine. The minister arrived at the scene around 10 am today and conducted an inspection.
The Railway Minister said that the accident might have happened due to some fault in the engine. However, a forensic test will be conducted soon. Only then, the exact cause of the accident will be determined.
