INTTUC NJP Local Committee protests against petroleum price hike

Siliguri, 07th July: The Indian National Trinamool Trade Union Congress (INTTUC), trade union of All India Trinamool Congress, has called for a statewide protest against the skyrocketing price of petroleum products including privatization of railways.


According to the information, the TMC party commenced their protest against the policies of the central government from July 6 and will continue till July 13.

Chiefly conducted by the INTTUC Local Committee, protests were held today at various stations of Jalpaiguri and Darjeeling districts.


State Tourism Minister Goutam Deb also participated in the demonstration organized at NJP station. Addressing the media, the Minister stated that the statewide protest is being conducted as per the directions of the TMC supremo and State Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

Deb suggested the central to drop down their anti-people decisions or else the TMC’s movement will be intensified in the coming days.
