Siliguri, 08th March: International Women’s Day was observed on behalf of Ward No. 23 Trinamool Congress Committee near Siliguri Park. The women of the ward were greeted with roses and chocolates. Trinamool activists and supporters also felicitated the teachers of Michael Madhusudan Vidyapeeth.
Lakshmi Paul, the female councilor of the ward, and others were present at the programme. She greeted the women of the ward and appealed to all to follow the path shown by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
