Kharibari, 08th March: Kharibari police observed International Women’s Day, on Tuesday. The day was celebrated by felicitating female police personnel, female Toto drivers, and teachers. Besides, a procession was also taken out from the Kharibari police station.
Rural DSP of District Police Achintya Gupta, Kharibari OC Sumon Kalyan Sarkar, and private college teacher Arthita Mukherjee was present at the programme.
In this regard, Rural DSP said that there is no discrimination between men and women in society. Apart from Kharibari, Naxalbari and Phansidewa police also observed the day.
